BIRD WATCHING

The bird
watching program was organised by Dr. Anna Neena George for the students of Dr.
Dada Vaidya College of Education Ponda Goa. The location for bird watching was
Carambolim lake. Students boarded the bus at 2: 30 pm from the college and
reached the location at 3: 00 pm.
All the
students gathered at the lake and were introduced to Mr. Omkar Dharwadkar and
Ms. Mrunmayee Thakur from Goa Bird Conservation Network. He first gave an
introduction of birding, the purpose of birding, the reason why birds migrate
to different places, and various other information. They also provided us with
the binoculars.
